Lakers-Celtics Rivalry

Since the NBA(National Basketball Association) was created,two teams had battled for glory,honor, and title. The Los Angeles Lakers and The Boston Celtics, two of the most successful franchises in the biggest basketball league in the planet.

How can we forget the Bill Rusell and Wilt Chamberlain Rivalry, though the Sixer was traded to the Lakers,the rivalry still shined. Also, the Jerry West-Bob Cousy point guard Showdown in the 60's.The Tenacious Bird-Magic, Abdul Jabar-Parish, and Worthy-Mchale era. And now, the rivarly still continued as the Celtics' big three, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett are battling against their nemesis, the Lakers' who has the best player in the world, Kobe Bryant and the best coach in the NBA, Phil Jackson.

In 11 finals apperance, the Celtics outshined the Lakers as they won 9 of their 11 meetings in the Championship.But now,the Lakers-Celtics era has grown to a funfest as they shared victories and suffered defeat.Who's the better team? The Green Domesday who has 17 titles or the Purple and Gold who has 14 titles?This rivarly will grow and exist for a long period of time.
